Work in Progress
Every writer has a file sitting in their office, or on their computer. Each writer calls it something different, be it “projects” or “WIP” or “current” or “bastarding thing why can’t I finish this and be done”. Whatever the name, it is the current work in progress for that writer.
Here I’ll list my current WIP, with updates on how each piece is progressing.
Please note that there isn’t any actual “writing” from any of these projects on their respective pages. For samples of my writing, you’ll need to go to my blog. The aim of these pages is to whet the appetite, and to keep you informed of what I’m working on and how it is progressing, if that interests you.
Novels
Unsurprisingly, these are the ideas I’m developing into full-length books. All titles are, of course, temporary. I won’t settle on a title until much, much later, and in all honesty, if picked up for publication I might not have the final say on the title!
Short stories & novellas
When I began writing, I usually wrote short stories, I suppose because I had neither the time nor the patience for anything longer. I still enjoy writing short stories, and I’m pleased to see not only a resurgence in their popularity, but an increased interest in the novella too.
