I can't say how much I enjoyed seeing your words on the page again. Tantalising, creepy, forcing me to look over my own shoulder as I type as I am now sure there are eyes from the garden watching...Great pace, drawing the reader in, inch by inch, revealing the desperation and bravado of the character.

oh - and congrats on making it to the first new challenge for WA.. Hope to see you here more often...
I've also contributed to FGC - http://www.annieevett.blogspot.com.au/2012/02/rightful-inheritance-fgc2012-1.html

Lol. That was an enjoyable read, you built up the suspense really nicely and I felt scared and sorry for poor Jack.
I also want to know what the thing is! But I suppose that's what makes the story work so well, that mystery, and fear of the unknown.

[...] Next week came, and I wrote a little pastiche of one of my favourite books. Of all my [Fiction] Fridays, I am fondest of this one. It is naive, but it makes me smile reading it. I can’t pick a favourite by other authors. I can’t choose just one friend, nor just one story by my friends. So instead, if I may be so bold and/or egotistical, here are three more of my own which are personal favourites of mine: Lady’s Luck, Product Recall and Literati & Son, Metaphysical Pawnbrokers.
