Episode #020 - Salvage the good (Part 2)

My Podcast Alley feed! {pca-9f25c71b2a813e22130ef1d58c00c654}

Part two of a three part story this week folks. If you missed the first part, just head on over to the site and check out Episode #19.

I have a poll asking you, the listening public, what I should be working on for NaNoWriMo 2008. At the moment, Long Watch 2 is winning hands down. So, if you want more of that, add to its storming victory. And if you want something different, well, you've got an uphill struggle! The poll is in the show notes for Episode #18, and is also on the regular blog site.

Speaking of The Long Watch, head over to the new site at http://www.thelongwatch.com - subscribe to the post feed, there is new teaser content going up each week, and make sure you don't miss out when it starts.

And we're done. Catch you later!

Episode #019 - Salvage the good times...

Don't be alarmed by the static crackle between the intro, story, and end - it's deliberate, sort of a way of marking out the story from the rest of the podcast!

First of a two-parter, maybe a three-parter - hell, if it works, it may be the first of a long, long story.

This was meant to be used as an entry for the very first Monday's Musical Musings meme, which I failed to finish it for. Instead, the idea I had of losing your memory collided with another idea that came to me, about manipulating memories. This in turn is feeding into a third story that has been brewing for some time. So, we'll see if these elements all combine well, or whether the net result is just horrible...

For those who remember, we learnt a little of the events in Ewan's life in the [Fiction] Friday entry for 27 June 2008, so if you're interested, go check that out.

If you haven't yet voted, please vote in my NaNoWriMo 2008 poll - remember, you get to decide what I work on in November. The poll is in the show notes for last week's show, Episode 18.

Finally, if you haven't already, take some time to check out The Astonishing Adventures of Captain Juan - http://www.captainjuan.com, and for fans of The Long Watch, head over to the new site at http://www.thelongwatch.com and get ready for November.

Episode #018 - In which our hero records a show...

*** Apologies if you're getting this in your feed twice - there were "issues"...***

Another "no story" podcast. Man, this is really bad. And it's been waaaaay over a month since the last podcast. Yet, despite the gap in time, I have picked up some extra listeners. Admittedly, these extra listeners are writers I work with, but hey, it's still a result.

As mentioned in the podcast, Jodi (http://jodicleghorn.blogspot.com/) and Annie (http://annieevett.blogspot.com/) are collaborating with me on a new story blog, "The Astonishing Adventures of Captain Juan".

The site, and its ridiculously long URL is http://theastonishingadventuresofcaptainjuan.blogspot.com/.

And now, here's the NaNoWriMo poll. Please, vote and let me know what you think.

What should Paul work on for NaNoWriMo 2008?

A sequel to the Long Watch
The Major Arcana
The Jack the Ripper crime/horror story
A political thriller set in Parliament
