Bad writer! Bad!
Well, we're mid-way through January, and I've failed a good few of my writing resolutions. I'm not writing every day. I haven't done a podcast since Christmas (although I at least have had the excuse of a bad cold that left me coughing so often recording would have been impossible) and I'm in danger of realising there is a wall in front of me.
However I am keeping up with my column, still participating in the prompts, and last night I sat down and started writing more of the book - tomorrow Fiction Friday prompt is back with the gang from the Long Watch, and although it will most likely not feature in any part of the story, it does give a further insight into their personalities (and might be enough to satisfy people who have been having withdrawal symptoms - Jodi, I'm talking to you here!).
And once back in the habit again, I'm sure it will all start tumbling out again. It's just a case of overcoming the writer's block/The Wall which I hit just after NaNoWriMo. And if you want my further thoughts on "The Wall" then I just happen to have written a little bit about it in my weekly column.
Yes, I know, shameless plug again...
